Did you know that the 8th March is an annually celebrated event? Well, this is just your luck because you are officially invited to attend The Power of Women: an evening that will leave you feeling inspired and in awe of the powerful performances on show.

Join us this International Women's Day in a charity fundraising event to extend the resources available to Refuge: a charity doing important work to support women and children escaping domestic violence and other forms of gender based violence.

Ticket proceeds will be donated to the charity and I hope you can get involved.

The event is taking place at Peckham Levels, SE15 4ST, on Tuesday 8th March 2022, from 6.30pm onwards. --> Ticket link​

The incredible line up includes singers, spoken word artists, dancers, solo dramaturgs and social entrepreneurs. I'm excited!

Not able to attend but keen to support? We have plenty of ways advocates and supporters can get behind this initiative without attending themselves.

1. ​Check out our newly launched crowdfunding campaign to raise more money. Part of the crowdfunding is aimed at covering the costs of the performers for their time and talent, whilst ensuring ticket proceeds can go towards the charity. Any more that is raised will go to Refuge to support their work.
   Whilst we are looking for event sponsors, individuals are welcome to back the event with any amount of funding possible.
   ​A little bit in numbers goes a long way and we really appreciate your help in reaching our goals!

   ​Certain rewards provide access to event recordings too, so you won't have to miss out entirely!
   ​
2. Pay it forward! You can purchase a ticket for someone else to attend the event. Details available on our ticket page.
   This is namely to share the love and provide the opportunity for anyone who might not be able to afford the ticket to access the event. If you don't have anyone in mind, we can match you with someone who would be ultra grateful for the admission.

3. Show the love by following and engaging with posts, whatever your platform.
